You can stop at any time. The app saves your place as you go, and next time it picks up where you stopped.
Just stopping
Close the app or put the phone down. Each piece you place is saved a couple of seconds after you tap it.
Leave the pieces in their tubs with the labels on. The tubs keep their letters and their counts between sittings.
Finishing for the day with a summary
- Go to Home.
- Under the main button, tap Done for today · see your summary.
- The summary shows pieces sorted and sets finished since your last summary, and your sorting time. It also says how many tubs still need pieces.
- Tap Back home, or tap Go build something to open your sets.
Ending this way clears the list of skipped pieces, so they return to the normal order next time. Everything you placed stays placed.
Carrying on
- If you just stopped, Home shows how many pieces are to go. Tap Keep sorting.
- If you ended with a summary, Home says Start a sorting session. Tap Start sorting. Your sets come back in the same tubs, with the same letters and counts.
- The yellow Sort tab does the same from any screen.
Seeing how far you have got
The card on Home shows the pieces to go and how much of the pile is sorted. See Seeing your progress.
If a tub was waiting to be emptied
If you stopped before confirming that a finished tub was empty, the app asks again when you come back.
On another phone or tablet
With an account, your sets and progress are saved to it, so you can sign in on another device and carry on. As a guest, they stay with one device. See Using more than one device.
If the signal drops while you sort, see Using the app without a signal.
