Using more than one device

Sign in with the same account on each device and your sets and progress are there. Use one device at a time. The app loads your sets when it opens, and does not update live from another device.

Setting up a second device

  1. Install BrickSorter on the other phone or tablet.
  2. On the first screen, sign in the same way you did before: with your email address and password, with Google, or with Apple.
  3. Your sets, tubs and progress load.

Do not tap Just looking? Try it without an account on the second device. That starts a separate guest with nothing in it.

Switching between devices

  • When you finish on one device, give it a few seconds. Progress is saved a couple of seconds after each piece.
  • On the other device, close the app fully and open it again, so that it loads the latest.
  • Do not sort on two devices at the same time. Each one only knows about its own taps until it is opened again.

What follows your account

  • Your sets, progress, starred sets and tub letters.
  • Your goal and your number of tubs.
  • Pieces you have bought, and your count of pieces sorted. The count is shared, so two devices on one account draw on the same pieces.

Pro goes with your App Store or Google Play account. If Pro does not show on a new device, tap Restore purchases in Settings. See Restoring purchases and refunds.

What does not follow

  • Guest mode. A guest’s sets stay with one device. See Guest mode and keeping your sets safe.
  • An account made with Apple. It can only be opened on an iPhone or iPad.
  • The list of steps that Undo can take back. It is kept only while the app is open.

If you have no account yet

You need one to use a second device. See Creating an account, signing in and signing out.
