When a tub is finished and a new set takes its letter

When the last piece of a set goes in, the app shows you which set that letter was. If another set is waiting, it then asks you to empty the tub, because the same letter is about to mean a different set.

The set is finished

A blue screen shows the finished set’s picture and name, and how many tubs are still to go. Tap Keep sorting.

If one piece finishes two or three sets at once, they share one screen.

Emptying the tub

If a set is waiting for a tub, the next screen tells you to get the tub ready. It has no close button. Sorting carries on only when you confirm.

  1. Tip the finished set out of the tub and into a bag. It is ready to build.
  2. Put the empty tub back, and keep its label on.
  3. Tap the button at the bottom, for example Tub A is empty — keep sorting.

From then on, that letter means the new set. The screen shows the old set’s picture and the new one, so you can see the change.

If several tubs change at once, they are listed together with one button to confirm them all.

Why the app insists

This is the one moment where the app and the table have to agree. If the tub is not emptied, the next set’s pieces land on top of a finished set.

If no set is waiting

There is no second screen. The tub stays out of use until you add another set. When you do, the app gives the new set that tub and asks you to make sure it is empty first.

If you closed the app before confirming

The app asks again when you next open it. The card on Home says which tub needs emptying.

Where finished sets go

A finished set moves to Ready to build in My sets. See Finished sets and sorting a set again.
