Change the number in Settings under Labelled tubs, or tap Add a tub in My sets. The change applies straight away, even in the middle of a sort.
Where to change it
- Tap Settings.
- Under Sorting, find Labelled tubs.
- Tap + or −. You can have any number from 1 to 26.
A line under the counter tells you what the change did.
To add just one, you can also open My sets and tap Add a tub beside Waiting for a tub.
Adding tubs
If sets are waiting, the next one moves into the new tub at once. The app names the set and its letter, and asks you to label a tub with that letter.
If a tub you already have is standing empty, the app uses that one before it hands out a new letter. It asks you to make sure the tub is empty first.
If no sets are waiting, the app says so. The new tub stays unused until you add a set.
Using fewer tubs
- A set with no pieces in its tub yet goes back to waiting. The last letters go first. Nothing has to be moved, because those tubs are still empty. The app tells you which tub to put away.
- A tub with pieces in it is never taken away. Those sets carry on, and the number of tubs comes down as they are finished. The app tells you when this is the case.
Between sorts
If no sort is in progress, the app says the new number will be used the next time you sort.
What the number means
The number of tubs is the number of sets sorted at the same time. Sets beyond that wait in line. See More sets than tubs.
