Pieces you have bought are kept with your BrickSorter account, so signing in to that account is all it takes to get them back. Restore purchases is mainly for finding a Pro subscription again. Refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
Getting your pieces back on a new phone
- Install BrickSorter.
- Sign in to the account you bought them with.
That is all. The number you have left is under Pieces in Settings.
Using Restore purchases
- Tap Settings.
- Under Pieces, tap Restore purchases.
- The app answers that your purchases are up to date. If it could not check, it says so. Try again in a minute.
Use it when:
- you have reinstalled the app or changed phone, and Pro is not showing;
- a payment was approved or went through while the app was closed, and has not appeared.
The same link is at the foot of the screens that sell pieces and Pro. Guests are not shown it, because a guest has no account to restore to.
What restoring cannot do
- It cannot move pieces from one BrickSorter account to another. Pieces stay with the account that bought them.
- Pro goes with your App Store or Google Play account. If you restore while signed in to a different BrickSorter account, Pro moves to that account.
Refunds
BrickSorter does not take your payment, so we cannot refund it. Refunds are for Apple or Google to give. Ask the store you bought from, in the same place you manage your other purchases.
If a purchase is refunded, what it paid for is taken off your account. For pieces, that is the pieces it added. The terms of use set this out.
A purchase that has not shown up
Pieces count at once on the phone you bought them on, and our servers confirm them shortly after. If the number still looks wrong after a few minutes, tap Restore purchases.
A payment that needs someone’s approval arrives when it has been approved.
