You can create an account with an email address and password, with Google, or with Apple on an iPhone or iPad. An account keeps your sets and progress saved, and lets you carry on from another device.
Create an account with an email address
- On the first screen, tap Create an account at the bottom.
- Type your email address and a password of at least 6 characters.
- Tap Create account.
We send one welcome email to that address.
Use Google or Apple
Tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple and follow the steps. The first time, this creates your account. After that, it signs you in.
Continue with Apple is shown on iPhone and iPad only, so an account made with Apple can only be opened on one of those.
Sign in again
- Type your email address and password.
- Tap Sign in.
Use the same method you used when you made the account. If it does not work, see Problems signing in.
If you are already sorting as a guest
Do not sign in from the first screen. That leaves your guest sets behind. Create the account from inside the app instead, and your sets come with you. See Guest mode and keeping your sets safe.
Your name
In Settings, under Profile, type a name in Your name. Home greets you with it. The email address for your account is shown under the box.
Signing out
- Tap Settings and scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Sign out.
- Tap Sign out again to confirm, or Cancel.
Your sets and progress stay saved to your account. They are there when you sign in again, on this device or another.
Guest mode is different. Signing out as a guest loses your sets and progress for good. The app warns you and offers Create an account first.

Sign in the same way there and your sets are waiting. See Using more than one device.
