Adding your sets

Type the set number from the instruction booklet, check the set the app finds, and tap Add. If you do not have the number, you can browse sets by name and picture instead.

Add a set by its number

  1. Open My sets and tap Add. From Home, you can tap Got new sets? instead.
  2. Type the set number. It is printed on the instruction booklet.
  3. Tap Look it up. The app also looks the number up by itself a moment after you stop typing.
  4. Check the picture, the name and the number of pieces, then tap Add.

The number box clears, ready for the next set. Sets you have just added are listed under Added so far.

The first time you open the app, this is the first thing it asks you to do.

Find a set without the number

  1. Under the number box, tap No number? Browse sets.
  2. Type a word or two from the set’s name in Search sets… and search. Short searches work best.
  3. To narrow the list, tap a theme such as City or Technic.
  4. To change the order, tap Newest or Most pieces.
  5. Tap Add on the set you want. Tap Load more to see more results.

Tap I have the set number to go back to typing a number.

Things worth knowing

  • You can add sets at any time, not only at the start. If a tub is free during a sort, the new set is given it.
  • If you own two copies of a set, add it twice by its number. Each copy is sorted as its own set, with its own tub.
  • When you browse, a set you have already added shows Added in place of the Add button.
  • There is no limit on how many sets you add. Sets beyond your number of tubs wait in line. See More sets than tubs.

If the app cannot find a set, see A set cannot be found or looks wrong. When your sets are in, label your tubs.
