A goal tells the app what matters most to you, and it changes which pieces are asked for first. Starring a set tells the app you want that set done sooner. You can change both at any time.
The three goals
- Just tidy up. The app describes it as a steady mix, good for most piles.
- Finish sets fast. Nearly finished sets are dealt with first.
- These ones first. The sets you star come first.
Just tidy up is selected when you start. If you are not sure, leave it. You first choose a goal while setting up, when the app asks What’s your goal?
Changing the goal
- Tap Settings.
- Under Sorting, find Goal.
- Tap the goal you want.
It applies at once, and the queue is put in the new order. Pieces already in tubs stay where they are.
More ways to sort
Under the three goals, tap More ways to sort… to show two more.
- Shared pieces first. The app’s own words for it are “The most efficient hunting order”.
- Big pieces first. The app’s own words for it are “Clear the large projects first”.
Tap Fewer ways to sort to hide them again.
Starring a set
- Open My sets and tap a set.
- Tap Star this set. The button changes to Starred.
Tap Starred to take the star off. If you choose These ones first during your first sort, your sets are listed there so you can star them straight away.
What a star does
- When you have more sets than tubs, starred sets get tubs before the others. This is true whichever goal you choose.
- A star also moves a set’s pieces up the queue. The effect is strongest with These ones first.
- A star does not take a tub away from a set that already has one.
What a goal does not change
Whatever the goal, the app asks only for pieces that the sets in tubs need. Skipped pieces still come back at the end.
