Yes. Your sets and progress are private to your account. Nobody else using BrickSorter can see them, and the app has no public profiles, sharing or leaderboards.
Who can see your sets
- You, signed in to your account.
- Nobody else using the app. Our servers only let an account see its own sets, progress, settings and purchase records.
- We can reach what is stored on our servers when we need to, for example to fix a fault or to delete an account on request. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
What the app does not do
- It does not show your collection to other people.
- It does not post anything anywhere.
- It has no friends list, comments or messages.
- It does not put your sets on any public list.
Someone else holding your phone
The app stays signed in. Anyone using your unlocked phone can open it and see your sets. If you share a device and have an account, sign out when you finish. Your sets stay saved to the account.
Do not sign out if you are in guest mode. A guest who signs out loses their sets for good. See Guest mode and keeping your sets safe.
Photos
We do not keep photos from ordinary scans, and nobody else using the app ever sees your photos. The only pictures we keep are the ones you send if you choose to help teach the scanner. See What happens to photos you scan.
Keeping your account yours
- Choose a password you do not use anywhere else.
- If you forget it, you can reset it from the sign-in screen.
- If you want everything gone, you can delete your account in Settings.
For what is stored and why, see What BrickSorter keeps about you and why. The privacy policy has the full detail.
